UNDONE-HINTERLAND
LUKE ADKINS

The band is Undone, the album Hinterland.  This band blew away what I thought they were going to be like. Undone outdid themselves with this CD, it starts off full of energy and ends that way too.  One goes from listening to the great guitar riffs in "Life of Pain"to the painfully throat wrenching song Hacksaw.  The album has great replay quality, every time I listened
to it (which was a solid 3 and a half hours) it got better and better.  You feel yourself drawn into all of the songs, they have a hypnotic quality in them
that just makes you want to keep listening to it.  The lyrics are good, the vocals better, and the guitar and drum the best.  The CD has beats in it that make you
want to go wild, but in a calmer fashion than a lot of bandsit has more of a controlled destructive quality to it.  A great listen for anytime of the day or night
or whenever you are awake.
